We will be continuing to meet as usual on Wednesday nights, but we will be taking a temporary break in our weekly review of Usener's Epicurea. For the present we will continue splitting our time between (1) open discussion and (2) a focused topic.
The plan for the focused topic is to take an item from the "Quotation Outline" we've been setting up at EpicurusToday. Here are links to the material as it currently exists in both outline format and chart format.
We will have a general discussion about each point, but the main goal will be to solicit additions to the list of quotations for each topic. Therefore if you get time to check out the topic and existing references beforehand, please make note of any references you'd like to suggest adding. We'll include in the chart only well-documented texts by ancient authorities, much as we have in Usener, but we can also discuss other references that might be particularly relevant.
